Blues

So what do you think of this color, this sort of turquoise color, the color of the Caribbean sea. It is like sapphires melted together and poured into the water. It seems adventurous and marvelous, but still warm and calm. It doesn't seem vicious but isn't as still as pond water.

P.S. Ooops, the color of my font was the color of the background, that is the color I was referring to. But you couldn't see it, so I had to change it.

So, ever feel a little bored with your furniture, your house? I was there. I had these 2 pieces of furniture(both free pieces from friends) that I really liked but that needed a touch up. They didn't match, which is ok normally. But, I was ready to have a little cohesiveness in the front room. It's the first room that you see from the front door, the first impression...

Before:

$2 curtain panels:

Inside with curtain spray-mounted to the backing:

Glass cabinet with 'new' curtains:

I still need some art but it is coming along. I am feeling inspired...Lauren has introduced me to The Nesting Place This blog has been a great place for me(and Lauren) to find some little things that can really brighten our houses! I can always use a little brightening!

Occasionally

"Occasionally" I like to take time to design! LOL Here is a new Plum kit! Today is the BIG release day! 20% off at both stores, SUN and SO

OCCASIONALLY you need a kit with a collection of floral patterns and elements, perhaps a plaid or dotted design. There will OCCASIONALLY be a call for basic unadorned papers and accessories. Red may be just the color you fancy, but OCCASIONALLY muted tones with just a few frills might fit the bill. Your project may necessitate a diverse mixture of ribbon, stitches, flairs, flowers, frames, notepaper, and OCCASIONALLY a simple or fancy journaling block. Whether you OCCASIONALLY scrap or are addicted, you will find OCCASIONALLY to be a kit you will go back to more than just OCCASIONALLY.

A special thank you goes out to our fab CT member Sharon for the description! You're the best Sharon!

Hope you like it!!
